In addition, Suzanne has managed multi-unit apartment complexes and owned/managed multiple single family and small multi-unit properties with little to no vacancy.
Suzanne’s parents were real estate investors and her father a broker in Western Michigan & downtown Chicago allowing her to start her property management experience in high school. Over 25+ years, she has owned and managed a variety of single, duplex, quads and 16+ unit apartment buildings for short term, mid-term and long-term rentals. During this time, Suzanne has also fully renovated units, requiring contractors to teach her the skills during the process. Knowledge of the construction process has increased her ability to spot issues during property inspections, avoiding costly mistakes – thus making Suzanne the default property and asset manager for team Cachiers.
Professionally, Suzanne holds a MBA from the prestigious Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and a Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification. She has also gained experience in market analysis as taught by her father and customer service from running long term and Airbnb properties in multiple Midwest and west coast markets. Suzanne’s main strength lies in her property management experience and asset management. Her clinical research profession has honed Suzanne’s skills such as a strong attention to detail, strong leadership skills, ability to prioritize and development of a strong strategic mindset. Suzanne can think outside of the box to locate unique solutions while also looking at various weekly, monthly and annual financial details to understand the quirks of a given property.
